Case study
Hiya Health: $10M+ in revenue from customers they already had
- Role
- Chief Growth Officer, alongside the founding team
- Category
- Health and wellness, children's nutrition, subscription
- Results
- $10M+ in incremental revenue, 2 net-new revenue channels
The situation
Hiya had strong product-market fit and a fast-growing customer base. It also had no email program, no loyalty program, and a growing roster of agencies that didn't coordinate.
At Hiya's growth rate, those gaps compounded every month. The business didn't need more acquisition spend. It needed more value from the customers it was already winning.
What I did
- 01
Built email marketing from the ground up. Flows and campaigns were designed around how Hiya's customers actually behaved, not generic DTC templates.
- 02
Launched a loyalty program. It gave subscribers reasons to stay longer and buy more.
- 03
Restructured the agency roster. Every partner got a clear brief, accountability metrics, and a regular operating rhythm.
- 04
Focused on leverage, not volume. Work went where existing customers produced more revenue, before adding acquisition spend.
Results
| Metric | Result |
|---|---|
| Incremental revenue | $10M+ |
| New revenue channels | 2 (email and loyalty) |
What this means for your brand
If you are growing fast without a retention program, you are paying full price to acquire customers and then letting them leave. Email and loyalty are usually the cheapest growth a scaling brand will ever buy.
